Why would you get rid of Crowton if you want the same offense out of his replacement?

Crowton was fricking to much of a trick this/trick that coach. No identity. Kragthorpe said he wouldn't change teminology, nor the standard plays. But he would make it simple, POWER run football.

Honestly, it will be Les Miles philosophy. Kragthorpe's main job was to coach QB, which Crowton was incapable. He still will be.

Is this ideal? No. Is it a disaster? No.

This all sounds rather logical, in a short-term sort of way. But I have a question...

The newly appointed OC is Studrawa. Now, I recall on the Rant during the OC search almost 100% of LSU fans there came unglued at the idea Stud would take over the reins. If all he was charged to do is do what "you" all say he did at BG (which seems like an OK resume), why the freak out then and not now? If it's all Miles' 2009-2010 offense, anyone could call it...
