You will soon see that Tyrann Mathieu is the best cornerback on the team. Last year it was the same doubt. Why is a 5'9 corner offered a scholarship. Then look at the followers he's gained. You will see when Simon gets torched and Tyrann go in and lock that side the field down.

You didn't watch the Spring game, did you?
Simon = freak. He's like 6'4", runs stride for stride with receivers, and has an incredible wing span that he uses to break up passes.
He broke up at least two sure TDs in the Spring game, simply because of his wing span.
He is better at covering the deep ball than Mathieu. This isn't really that difficult to understand. Mathieu is at his best playing the nickel.
