Some, not all. The 2 biggest pieces of dead weight we've had this decade were both fired before last year and replaced with real coaches. Even installing a brand new defense we were better last year on D than the year before.

Perhaps, but he's shown he can win big here before. There are a lot of reasons why he started to slide after his early success, but it's not like he forgot how to coach. He knows that this is it, he is coaching for his job this year. If that doesn't a light a fire under his arse then I don't know what would.
