I'm starting to wonder if we are upset at the loss of these trees or the fact that we can no longer roll them after victories

Seriously man? That is what made so many memories for people. That is why the a-hole poisoned them. So we couldn't celebrate with that tradition anymore.

It is not because we named the trees and feel they are our pets. They are a part of the history of the school and the town, but the tradition of rolling toomers is the loss of tradition.

You really think its some hippy type of thing? I think its sick to poison anything out of spite like he did, but I also like oak furniture. It IS the tradtion that is the true loss.
