Oh my God! He called me about a month before this year's bama game but I didn't have time to talk. I meant to call him back but it slipped my mind. I had no idea he was ill.

He was a genuine guy and showed me a good time on my own school's campus. Not many people are as genuinly likeable like Steven. The instant he met me (a stranger from a message board) he was as inviting as a long lost fiend. You could tell from just meeting him one time that he was as passionate about Bama football as anybody could possibly be about their team. All I can say is that he made me see Bama fans as real people. That's saying a lot!


RIP buddy. I'm really torn up. I'll be saying prayers for the family for quite some time.
