Time to add to the bummer of an IM thread, though I'm a newb so no one will read this.
Just found out that a friend back home finally lost her fight with leukemia. Can't afford to go home for the funeral, and my parents can't afford to bring me there either.
Will not be sleeping tonight.

frick, dude. I take back the "FML" on my first post. My shite is petty compared to all this. Do what you can do, man. I'm sure she knows you'd be there if you could. Prayers also sent.

im sorry to hear that mac.
my first ex-gfs mom just died thursday from brain cancer. we had become friends again this year after not talking forever.
it was just weird timing though with nick bell from state passing and then her mom a few days later.
