Why the frick would the Tuscaloosa police legitimize this guy by acknowledging publicly that they will be looking for him? Dumb move by the TPD in my opinion. Sure have some guys aware of the situation, but don't talk about it in the paper.

I think it may be an attempt to ward off anybody ahead of time that thought about going to look for the guy. Basically a prewarning, "Hey, we will be watching him to prevent anything from happening, so don't try anything."
