How can we turn down an offer from anybody when the board of regents doesnt meet until next Tuesday and our athletic director has been out of town all weekend?

Dosent make much sense to me. I think Chip is trying to stir the pot personally

I think A&M is sitting on three offers:
1. The SEC offer
2. The PAC-10 offer
3. The stay in the Big 12 offer.

Right now t.u. doesn't like it but A&M holds all the cards. If A&M jumps to the SEC t.u.'s whining about A&M breaking up the conference rings hollow--after all, earlier in the week they were whining that NEBRASKA broke up the conference. Which is it? And who in their right mind wouldn't take an invite into the nation's premier football conference?
