No disrespect to Frank Thomas intended, but Wade put not only Alabama on the map, but also Southern football in general. Frank Thomas walked in those footsteps. Frank Thomas ranks as near as Stallings does, but I like that Stallings got Bama out of Bryant's long shadow. It's all subjective really.

No disrespect to Gene Stallings, becuase I think he is the finest person that ever coached at Alabama, but Thomas is well above him in the coaching pantheon. Thomas had a higher winning %, 3 undefeated seasons to 1.
