It doesnt go best player in the country. Dont you know that. How often is the Heisman trophy winner the top pick in the draft? It goes to the best player on the best team usually. I agree that a RB should get it over a DT simply because a RB on a running offense carries his team. A DT simply leads the defense. How many games did Suh win for Nebraska single handedly?

How many games did Ingram win for Alabama? South Carolina? In their two closes games Ingram almost fumbled it away and ran for like 20 yards. Heisman stuff.
