The mental images created in my mind involving the means allegedly used are almost too much for me to handle!

All I am saying is I don't believe it for a couple reasons.

First, I haven't heard of this happening. If that happened and even if Hootie didn't want to file a police report, it would be fairly common knowledge.

Second, there are too many people between me and the person who saw this event. Story's get changed, people forget, mix up or exagerate details, etc.... That's the importance of having an eyewitness, not the boyfriend of the girl at the pharmacy where the witness said this happened.

Third, it would be incredibly stupid to use a plane to dump trash on someone's house. Planes are usually easily tracked and this would be some type of terroristic activity, that may be why a "crop duster" is used. I think some of them don't file the requisite paperwork/logs. I would think that is fairly significant jail time for someone doing this.

That all said, this story is really interesting. I don't doubt somone would dump trash on Hootie's property, just the manner described is a lot of work to do something that would be fairly easy.

I'm going to see if I can any info on it though.

You know the great thing about it?

You believing it or not doesn't make it any less truthful or non-truthful.

Just like the whole bit I mentioned about he FOI guy's garden getting trashed.

I still want to know if the Hogs win nine or ten but lose to Ole Miss, will they still consider it a successful season?

Find out what you can but i got all i need to believe it.
Also, there really aren't that many gaps, if you will believe that for one moment.

My gf personally (not hearsay) spoke to Hailey Nutt and she mentioned it after they had talked several times while picking out clothes and whatnot. Hailey was talking about how much she and her entire family love Oxford etc and said incident was mentioned. 2-3 days afterwards my ole lady mentions it to me. I then posted it on here.

I've never bought into that guy's story either. Even if it happened in his case, doesn't mean it's necessarily related to the FOI.

But it was included in the all-holy blog for Arkansas fans for Anti-Nutt info. So even if he doesn't blame them directly, he implied the blame.

What I am thinkin is that maybe whoever did it rigged up a tarp apparatus?

Rednecks can fix up some crazy shite when football, raw emotion, and planes are involved. I am speaking from experience of course.

A plane with small windows dumping a 'DUMPSTER' load of trash...okay, no...

A plane with a tarp underneath it...you have no idea what this would do to a small engine plane do you.

LOL, really?

It didnt happen, Nutt's a piece of lying shite, just like the rest of his family and his wife's posse' and we are going to stomp a mudhole in your asses in Fayettenam this year!

You lumped me in with other Arkansas fans about it. So yes, the implication was there.

I couldn't blame him after numerous times of dumpster loads of trash being deposited on his house/yard from cropduster planes, which I know for a fact happened after losses during his tenure in the Ozarks.

Trash being deposited on Nutt's house/yard from a plane? Are you kidding? You seriously can’t believe that shite, can you? I suppose it never occurred to you that being able to dump anything from a plane to hit a house or yard would take a tremendous amount of skill but would also result in someone losing their Pilots license immediately. In addition, a pilot would also probably lose their license just by flying low in a residential area even without dumping trash on Nutt’s property.

If indeed someone from his family said this it’s just another shining example of poor ole Houston Nutt and his family playing the victim card which doesn't surprisse me in the least. And you wonder why Hog Fans despise this bunch so much.

The "crop duster" means of delivery is a bit "over the top". That coupled with WRT's failure to ever bring this up makes me skeptical. Someone as close to the family as she is would have surely shed some light on this alleged atrocity. Ya think?

trash being dumped on trashes house? how is this a bad thing? who cares. The only person Houston Nutt has to blame for that whole incident is Houston Nutt. He did not have to hire the Springdale bunch but he was in a catch 22. If he had not done it then he is out 2 years earlier. He did it and saved his job for another couple of seasons. Gus Malzhan is now at Auburn soon to be a head coach. We are on the rise and Nutt is where he belongs at the end of the SEC line. So, everything is about right in the SEC world. If you Rebels can not see it then it is your loss. His act will wear on you after a while but then again I suppose you all are happy with 8 win seasons and Cotton Bowl victories every three to four years. Just do not let go of that rope and keep those moral victories coming.

Yeah, we're tied for third in the SEC in wins since he's gotten here, so I wouldn't neccessarily call that the end, but whatever helps you sleep at night.

Well, you now have 6 months to prepare yourself for this inevitability.

LOL . . . so if some dude that you didn't know well (i.e., read on an internet fan board) told you something you found hard to believe, and you asked him where he got his info and he told you "I got it from my girl friend, who heard it from another girl that came into her store . . ." that you wouldn't question it?

If you say you would automatically accept it as gospel, you are either lying or incredibly gullible.
