Richt has to win big next year or he's gone...so maybe the reason Muschamp turned down UTenn is for UGA after next year.

Cowherd also said that USC has assembled the greatest coaching staff in college football history.

just heard this too. If I was Muschamp, I'd take the UT job because it's money now. I know he's a UGA guy, but money talks and we should all listen.

Muschamp has the luxury of sitting back and waiting. He probably got a nice bump over the $1 million for passing on Tenn. There's no guarantee UGA opens up next year, but he can afford to wait it out at his current salary, AND there will ALWAYS be a HC opening every year. So if Tenn didn't suit his taste, he did the right thing.

Muschamp should wait. PLus, I'm happy cus either way it works out we have a good coach
