HSV, you seem to be one of the leaders of the non-sense regarding this situation but I do agree with you about the above.

If the intent was to keep Urban around to save the recruiting class then it's terrible.

However, Foley would be called out on that big time and his reputation would suffer. I don't think he'd be willing to risk his "legacy" at FL for one recruiting class. He's never done anything similar and from all accounts is a stand-up guy, a great AD and loves UF too much to get that slimy.

If it turns out to be your theory I will be as pissed as anyone. Most of our recruits were OK with Urban retiring. If they end up getting tricked with the LOA then that's a bad deal.

One of your top recruits, maybe the top, is pretty pissed about all of this. He was suppose to graduate early and be at Florida in January, but now has said he will probably stay in high school for another semester to think this out.
