Don't forget to factor in all of our drops. Mallett probably should have had another 5 catches. Our WRs always seem to be off on the road (Mallett too). I guess it's youth.

Freaking excuses. What about the whole first quarter Mallet was sailing the ball 5 yards over their head.

Oh that is right it was because of the crown
on the field.

With Mallet and your receivers being "off"..I don't suppose LSU's defense had anything to do with it....just bad luck huh....

Then you also have to factor in drops by LSU receivers. That works both ways. The bottom line-Mallet had a bad first half, drops or not. As I said, Mallet is the better QB overall, but just not in that game. He had an off night. LSU's defense had something to do with that as well.
