Cotton has apparently been a beast.

Stanley throws the deep ball very well. Has good size, but I think is more if not as mistake prone as Jevan Snead is. He's probably more accurate at this point, though.

Cotton, physically, is the best QB we have. Big, strong arm, etc. He's just too young to know the playbook as well as the coaches would like him to. You're right about Stanley throwing the deep ball in that he has shown excellent touch in practice, but he somehow struggles with the dink and dunk stuff (as bad as Snead apparently). Tapp is meh.

Cotton is the best of Ole Miss' backup QB's IMO

Mullen really wanted him bad b/c he fit the system he was bringing to Mississippi State better, but since we already had Tyler Russell, Cotton ended up signing with UM

Is there any truth to Cotton being moved to TE? I would find that hard to believe but stranger things have happened.
