This is first time I really watched Fla play this year, and the one thing I saw that worries me the most is their speed off the edges. Our LT got beat several times today off the edge (and it wasn't just Greg Hardy). If we don't fix this Fla will light us up.

It will be another Epic game.

with good reason.they'll eat us alive on that side, unless changes are made,or somebody steps up.

That game will be a defensive struggle. Assuming it happens of course

Florida is not near as explosive offensively as last year's team. The loss of Lewis Murphy in the passing game shows along with the loss of Percy Harvin. They look almost like a pure power option offense out of the shotgun now. Last year they hit a lot more big plays vertically. I also see some vulnerability to the run with their defense.

Ole Miss's D-line is probably better than Florida's.
Pretty impressive that you went the whole game with no holding penalties.

Keepnin mind that Bama led UF in the 4th quarter last year with JPW at qb. I think this year' bama team is better but UF was better last year than they are now.

How'd you figure that one out?

Well I feel that Florida is the same team minus two of their biggest offensive playmakers in Murphy and Harvin. I think they have adjusted their offense a bit because of it. Harvin had his own offensive package of plays and Murphy was their most consistent down the field threat in the pass game. I don't they are as explosive offensively now. Meyer seems to have adjusted to a even more run oriented run style with a short to mid range pass game. They don't have guys like Harvin and Murphy who can stretch the field vertically on a consistent basis. Plus Harvin was arguably the most dynamic offensive player in the nation last year.

If we meet them in the SECCG..I think our defense wins it for us.

My guess is we'll try to pound between the tackles and dink pass/middle screen to slow down their pursuit. I think there will be more snaps to Ingram/Upchurch in the future to try and slow down speed of the edges from teams like LSU and Florida - actually surprised we did not run it a few more times yesterday.
All of the UA fans criticizing our offense are not giving Ole Miss' defense nearly enough credit. They were ready to play, very talented and Nix is a pretty damn good coach.

Our defense will keep us in all of our games.
