Like that would happen. The player is already being blocked upright when Pugh comes in at the knees. That equals a chop block.

Look Tom, you're a smart guy. Think about the speed of the game. None of these players have the luxury of backing up the recorded footage and watching it frame by frame. Pugh was trying to block the guy, not hurt him.

Maybe they should make cut-blocking illegal.
