yes you are. 2007 LSU when healthy as it was for the bowl game and for the start of the season would lay into last years utah team.
we lost to a UK team who was ranked at the time and we had just had a war with UF. Utah didn't have any team on their schedule last year that could physically match UF.
arky wasnt ranked but they were a team that had talent and under achieved all year. They put it all together and dmac decieded to play.
Utah last year played one team that could get physical and that was bama in a bowl. Bama was clearly deflated in the sugar bowl. They lost the title and then fatass decided to frick his team over. Utah comes out hot and runs away and hides from bama.
Utah wasn't that good last year. They were a good team but they can't come close to any championship team in the bcs era.
LSU would have physically dominated utah. Utahs only hope is that LSU pulled a bama and just doesn't show up

Kinda the same thing that happened to Oklahoma the year before in the Fiesta w/t Boise St. What sucks is it gives legs to the argument that these school deserve credit or metioning in the same breath as the big boys. Bama and Okla. had already cashed their seasons in by the time the bowl game got there, where as UTAH/Boise St. were getting ready to play their superbowl. Of course if a Bamer says this he is just making excuses so thanks hbtiger for stating this.

I agree with this statement. Is it possible for Utah to pull the upset? Of course but not very likely IMO.
If the 08 Utah team would play the 07 LSU team in the middle of the season when LSU is beat up then they would have a better chance. LSU was and still is too talented to lose that game if they are healthy and their star player(s) don't screw up or get injured.
IMO LSU wins by 14+ and Bama would have won had we played them before UF IMHO.
