Funny, this sounds a lot like Vanderbilt. How'd that turn out?

I don't say this to be mean or flippant. Just that what you say is harder to actually accomplish on the field than you make it out to be.

I repeat: GT scored more points on UGA than LSU did, and LSU was the 4th highest scoring offense in the SEC last year. What the LSU defense accomplished against GT in the bowl win was impressive.

But was even more impressive to me was how good LSU's defense looked against LSU's offense in spring. An offense that was #4 in the SEC last year and with almost everyone back was held scoreless through most of the spring.

LSU's offense didn't score against LSU's #1 defense until the coaching staff started the offense on the 50 yard line the last practice before the spring game.
