As recruiting tactics go, better stretching out in a limo than stretching the truth. And better the coaches show up in a sweet ride than the recruits.

In an interview yesterday, Head Coach for UConn (who just had four first round picks from his school) Randy Edsall said that this tactic was insane. It doesn't deal with the reality of the situation. Any recruit that goes along with a tactic like this and makes a decision based on something flashy has to essentially be "de-recruited" when he finally goes to a school. This hardly ever works out very well. I think he is spot-on in his assessment.
