4-3, 10-3, and 8-0

Ex-reliever turned sunday starter Scott Bittle threw a complete game shutout. 13k's.
His two starts,(LSU last weekend) have been amazing.

he was impressive vs. LSU. Should have kicked Bianco for pulling him and costing Mississippi the game.

I wanted to, but he had never gone more than 2 or 3 innings before then. Our defense cost us that game, that and clutch LSU hitting/baserunning.

Yeah I was pissed we took the beast out after only 92 pitches, but he even said afterwords he was worn out.

He hadn't started a game in about a year, so he's still working on his stamina.

Pretty good line today... CG shutout and 13 Ks

i dont recall if the game was on tv but the 2B was WAY too far in, even for the infield being in when that ball was hit to him. If his foot would have been splitting the grass and dirt, he makes the play.

I watched in on Rebelvision. I get all the baseball home games and SEC away games on my computer.

Our second Baseman is miserable. Ferguson is a terrible fielder and our second worst batter. Our catcher blew that one too. He's our worst batter, and probably only surpassed by Ferguson's shitty fielding. I prefer when we play backup 3rd baseman Evan Button at second.

Anyways, loser of that series did fine last year.

At the time of the game, Morgan for Bittle in the 8th seems like a good idea. Morgan had K'd like the last 12 batters.

All he had to do was get in front of that ball and knock it down.
It could have caused some pain, but it would have been completely worth it.

The backup, henson played this weekend and I think he's a much better player. He actually threw someone out.

Both Ferguson and Basham got benched after that sunday performance against LSU.

Thats retarded, Bashem was playing with stiches in his foot against LSU. Hes still hurt, thats why Henson is getting time.

It's 23 of the last 24 OUTS were strike outs.....not batters faced.

Basham is the better fielder. We was SEC defensive catcher of the year last year. It's not like he can't throw people out. He threw a lot of them out last year.

By the way, Ferguson is currently batting .315, fifth best on the team. Others still have time to pass him, but not I'm sure you could call him the 2nd worst batter on the team. But I'd probably rather have Button batting with 2 outs.

What a great sweep.

I sort of like this line-up. I hope it stays this way.
