TV timeouts every 4 minutes will always be the worst part of college basketball, but it's not the end of the world and I have learned to accept the things that I cannot change.

My only gripe at this point is when a coach calls a full timeout a few seconds before there's 16 or 12 or 8 or 4 minutes left on the clock.

Happened in the Duke game right now. Duke timeout. Long commercial break. Duke comes down the court and gets fouled. Long commercial break. In the end, it took 9 minutes to play 20 seconds of basketball.

Seems like the rules committee could change the rule and give us a little relief. Say if a coach calls a full timeout within 30 seconds of a TV timeout, just blend them together, still charge the team with the timeout and make it the TV timeout. Wisful thinking, but frick it.

you aren't wrong but $$$

the going to the review to reset .4 seconds on the clock if it's not under 20 seconds in the game is maddening to me. Not needed.

and 2 minutes to put in a reserve after someone fouls out? dumbest thing ever. It's not hard. Put someone in. It should not be a free timeout.
