I came here to post this just now. This is the equivalent of the Heisman for track & field. Doris is an absolute beast.
If you’re not familiar with track and field and don’t understand how dominant she was, imagine a football team winning conference and national championships three years straight. You’d call it a dynasty. But she did it in three different disciplines: Indoor track, outdoor track and cross country, three championships PER YEAR.
Suggestion: Rewrite your thread title to “Bama track star wins T&F Heisman” or similar.
