The CFP committee said it was only between Notre Dame and Miami.

Alabama was in no matter the results of the SEC title game.

Since the CFP was incepted back in 2014, we've only missed it three times (2019, 2022, and 2024).

How much does pride in your team matter? Being pinned down and whooped with 16-18 million people watching on television couldn't have been great for pride.

Then do away with them. You're only risking deflating the cfp ratings if someone goes down. If it's about ratings and money, protect your assets.
