Nothing set in stone until next week. But will be lots of takes figured a thread leading up to the final decision day for all the scuttlebutt.

One thing to remember, if we ended up in a bowl its likely plenty of players sit it out or transfer. Being in the playoffs is a big incentive especially for players wanting to showcase skills.

Despite looking like shite, the committee has had us ahead of ND because of our résumé. Will that change this week? It wouldn't be surprising. One thing that sucked yesterday was Tennessee losing to Vanderbilt especially if they exit the rankings.
If the committee swaps OU and ND this week then we would be out of BYU and Bama win next week.

No we are nit getting pushed out of playoffs. Bama could if they lose but conf title games should not kick you out at least not in SEC.

The chair said the other day that they won't have any data point, so they can't use that against them. Seeding may move but they're locked into hosting in R1 I think

If Bama wins, they will jump us and A&M. That puts us against A&M
If Bama loses, either things remain the way they are right now and we still host them OR they slide Bama/ND again and we host ND instead.
That ND matchup we were looking forward to is looking less likely
