Do We Have to Run the Play Clock to 1 on EVERY Play?

Just makes it all seem hectic and discombobulated on every play. Changing the play at the line never results in a big play. We'd probably be more effective to just call a play and run it regardless of what the defense is showing.

Yes. And we can never have a receiver run a drag across the middle to beat the blitz
