Better Players & Better Coaches = NC's

Throughout the history of this sport of college football that we all love and cherish, teams that have had better players and better coaches than all the other teams quite often win the national championship.
What does that say about football at this level? Are the teams that win it all in any particular season really that good?
What if they didn't have quality players and quality coaches? Could they have won the NC then?
I say probably not.

Um.. if you have a great roster and coacing staff you do very well...both are needed.
