Some rules apparently are still enforced by the NCAA regarding freshman who have a four

Game time frame before they burn a redshirt. When a player transfers, why wouldn’t the NCAA be able to limit a player to sit out the next season on his new team for four games? Does that change the narrative somewhat and make things more palatable?
