Don’t delete the past weekly game threads

We need to be able to go back to them
Pin them at the bottom, anchor them, whatever just don’t delete them

I may be out of line saying this but there's a strange direction from admin to keep having new threads coming in rather than hosting long standing threads.
Is it ad related or something?

I’m absolutely certain that when chicken tries to sell the value of the website to advertisers the first thing they asked for is monthly clicks, posts, new threads/activity
It’s his website and if he wants us to start new threads for things that’s fine but last week they deleted the Florida game thread so now we can’t even go back in reference things we discussed about the game or the players anymore. I don’t mind if they anchor the weekly game thread and make us start a new one each week. I just don’t want them to delete the weekly game thread so we can’t go back at the end of the season And discuss any finer points that we may want to.

I don't think you're too far off. And if it is the case, so much for the 'user first' experience.
Although I suppose it is a 'customer first' approach in that ads are paying the bills. We're just the hamsters running on the turn wheels.
