Matt your last question did Mizzou take the SEC offer just to spite kansas? On our way out the door we won the Big 12 hoops tourney in Kansas City, Missouri - the front line of the Border War - and chanted "SEC! SEC! SEC!" as the Big 12 commish handed us the trophy, while dejected ku fans who'd made signs saying "Misery SECedes!" and "Big 12 Now Confederate Free!" watched helplessly. So yes, this was all to spite kansas, the rest was just gravy. Delicious Southern sausage gravy and biscuits, mind you...but gravy.
