We gave up an 9-0 run and didn’t score for over 5 minutes (in a 10 min qtr) and only trail by 5 at half. As this team meshes they will be a really good contender. Like our coach.

This team is primed for the future. Jennie will get good recruits and portals now that she has them built back up. She’s a good coach. Probably too young to get to final 8 and a sweet 16 would be a good year.

UCLA went on a 16-6 run in those last 7:37 minutes qnd lead 59-48. Too many scoring droughts but you can tell this team has talent and just not making shots. They will improve as year goes and early games like this on road will be helpful to the youngsters.
Chavez, the top recruit is 1-11 FGs but she has some major talent. Good game and easy to see when shots fall even a little better this team can compete with anyone.

Its really just this which I think can and will improve:
“OU has missed 14 out of their last 16 shots”
This is a big stage for some very young OU players vs #3 team on road. Jitters show but experience will be valuable for season.

Gianna Kneepkens has torched OU tonight. She was really the only player the Sooners went after in the transfer portal. UCLA ended up winning that battle.

Although we lost one thing I noticed is we had less turnovers than UCLA. Last year we had a big problem with turnovers and even though we lost thats an improvement.
I like where Jennie has this team headed. Just missed shots last night but the fundamentals are improved. She has a system. Unlike the men who still look out of sorts and not playing with a system.

Will he even last the season? Same ole thing with his teams. Opponent is 0-3 this year.
