Well, I never expected a title last season. It’s hard to repeat but having won it all the losses will be easier to take. And they could actually be better. But other teams aren’t sleeping either. Should be a fun season.

Summer league starts up 5 July. Roster, and most are warm bodies but you never know who can show out. Topic is on it, #12 pick a year ago who sat all year nursing injury.

Topic was projected as a top 5 pick a year ago but injury dripped him and OKC got at 12. Now healed and first action in almost 18 months his 3 is so smooth.

Barnhizer was a great rebounder for his size at Northwestern. Already showing that on the Thunder. He has 7 rebounds in 10 minutes. Just a magnet for misses

The Thunder have the resources to be sustainable for the foreseeable future:

- 14 firsts in the next 7 years, including a potential of 4 in 2026

- Revenue stream: New arena in 2028, national TV contract and possible expansion

- Contracts staggered in the future (SGA doesn’t start until 2027-28)

- 5th lowest payroll since 2020-21
