OU Men’s Basketball 2025/26 Off Season

Well, lots of questions to come.
Will OU retain Porter Moser? I say they will because he made the tourney plus his buyout is too high.
Will Fears go pro? I think its likely. But he really should be at prom as a senior in HS. He played great when you factor how young he is. Another year to home his craft would do wonders. But if he slotted as a top 10 NBA pick how do you overlook that. Its a lot of money to be made if he goes pro.
Porter is still recruiting so that tells me he’s staying. He would have gotten inside info if he was being fired. Only wildcard is if some school buys him out but due to cost and recent 4 yr records, I just don’t see it.

I heard on KREF that Trey Young is now the assistant GM for the mens BB and Trey also gave 1 Million for mens BB NIL.
So.... makes you wonder who is or will be the GM for BB since I never heard of anyone being announced. .

Portal Moser did some work.
Davis will also go through the NBA draft process with the intent of securing a guaranteed contract.
I think this means he semi declared and if he gets the right deal goes NBA but can play at OU if not.

Another boom! Portal Moser living up to his name
Pack averaged 13.9 points, 4.3 assists, and 3.0 rebounds while shooting 45.4% from the field and 38.6% from three in nine games for the Hurricanes.
