Saban admitted to Milroe limiting play calling last year

I can't find a recording of last year's game against USF that includes on-field interviews during stretching and warmups. It was a very revealing statement from Saban and I remember being surprised by the lack of people bringing it up.

Essentially, he was asked why he was going to start a different qb, and his answer was that they wanted to see if they had an option that would allow them to open up the playbook more.

This is just more to the pile on at this pint and I love Jalen and wish he was the guy for the job, but it's clear he has dictated what our play callers have been able to do all along.

I've always been surprised this statement from coach didn't gain more attention at the time.
