This is a makeup call from Sugar Bowl 2007 when he made the ditchdigger comment. If that Intervention gump remembered that, she would understand. Saban was overcompensating for the ditchdigger/coonass comment. Road to hell paved with good intentions......

For the millionth time, Saban didn't make a "ditchdigger" comment. I still don't get how people don't understand the difference between saying a "guy working in a ditch" (which you'd think was already dug) and "ditchdigger."
I think this is sincere. Saban and his family really liked it in Baton Rouge. I can't imagine Tuscaloosa comes close, even with all the love for him.
