That's like lowering the goal to 8 ft. Dude may hit 50 homers out of that softball diamond.

Couldn’t blame him. Dude played through injury in the national championship while his dirtbag coach had a foot out the door.

Look across the diamond and the other coach would take a bullet for his players and is diving into the stands with fans.

Who could blame him for wanting to join that?

I warmed up to Tony V in this post season. His interviews were good and he can coach. His players respond well to what he is selling!

Entire team is basically waiting to see who the hire is first.

If y'all make a good hire, I'd bet most, if not all, of those guys stay at A&M.

Agreed. That is what both Prager and Chestnut said on TA radio this morning. Jace has an offer from TN but also knows that he is just a few HR short of the all-time A&M record.

If Cain is hired they would keep everybody . Cain leaving is reason for most leaving. Let’s me real. , players not leaving because HC left.

Cain was denied an interview originally. I think there is a VERY good chance Earley could come back under the right circumstances.

Nobody is talking about best way to save recruiting class. Cain is best way to right whip , even if short term. Cain was bad third base coach here but great recruiter. Kids get him and he gets them .

Hiring a coach to save the roster literally never works.

True but some have openly said Cain was reason for leaving. With the roster A& M had if they kept half of them and mix in a few portal players they would be in top tier of SEC again. Success breeds success.
