Given that the NCAA selection committee chooses a new set of arbitrary factor weightings every year, you damn sure should care.

Knowledgeable baseball fans know not to take them seriously. Midweek games are essentially a scrimmage to tinker with the lineup and figure out what arms you can trust. Nothing more.
