This doesn't make any logical sense at all and I can't explain why but swinging just seems even more gross on a swingers cruise.

You have the distance, alcohol, opportunity, attention, and now closed quarters. It's like a perfect cheating opportunity for married people going on "girl's/guy's" trips.
But yeah, a swinging convention in a boat sounds greasy and gross.
