Don't freak out. Regular paint thinner can be used to strip old wax of of finished real wood floors prior to screening and re coating. Just wipe up everything you can with old rags, ventilate the room and put fans on it.
I will stress that you have to take those old rags and lay them out flat, well away from any structures and let the liquid evaporate, before you put them in a garbage can at the road. Otherwise, you have a real fire hazard.
Unless you got tons of it under the floor, you should be fine. Acetone, and lacquer thinner are a different story altogether.
