BI doesn't need to be traded because he's a bad player, he needs to be traded because his natural style is not a fit with how the team needs to play to maximize what they are doing.

If you could guarantee me that a heart to heart between the brain trust and BI would have Ingram come in and make similar sacrifices and changes like we saw from CJ, But I really don't think that's the likely way this plays out. Even then I still question if we have enough "PG" ability between BI and Zion. BI out and someone like Dejounte Murray or Garland in just seems like a needed change.

Hes just not good enough in todays nba. The guy never shoots 3s, isn’t an impact defender, and refuses to adapt his game to the team or situation.

Yes he can score- when he doesn’t have a physical defender on him- but thats why hes one time all star and has never made any other all nba team.

And this

In a magical world where BI could change his shot profile and play like I think he should play AND accept his role as the #2 option, I would gladly keep him around and think he would do well as a #2.

But in the real world, it's pretty obvious he won't do either of those things.
