Alabama played Auburn the week before they played Georgia in the SECCG. Georgia had just as much rest as Alabama.

FYI, he was talking about the impact of Michigan’s rest/prep time on that outcome.

If you are still crying about 2017, as I already pointed out, Georgia was lucky they got to play Auburn in the SECCG that year, you wouldn't have made it to the playoffs at all otherwise. You were ranked 6th going into that game, ranked below both Alabama and Auburn.

Good to see you correct your mistake about insisting bama was already in the top 4 before getting rewarded with a bye week. You were wrong about that one.

Not to mention the only reason Auburn didn't blow you out again in the SECCG is because they had to play Alabama the week before the SECCG and the RB who ran all over you the first time was injured against Alabama.

You are showing almost zero understanding of the first and second auburn games. Interesting that the AU injury was killer, while you ignore the uga injuries that helped bama.

Yeah, bullshite excuses because everyone in both cases gets the same amount of prep and rest time.

Alabama was ranked high enough they didn't need to play their way in. Georgia was not. Even if Auburn had won that game, Alabama was still in. The outcome of the game only benefited Georgia.

It would have been #2 Auburn and #4 Alabama with Georgia at home instead of #3 Georgia and #4 Alabama with Auburn at home. And if Auburn had won, Alabama's top4 claim is even stronger than the Auburn loss.

The only people who cry about that are people who don't like Alabama and/or people who think "Conference Champion" is for some reason a qualification for the playoffs when it wasn't.

It doesn't matter, Georgia still won. It doesn't matter how many injuries Georgia had, Alabama still won.

But don't pretend like you weren't the beneficiary of it all while trying to point the fingers at others.
