Zurich is the best large city I've ever been to. Best place to live in the world IF you can afford it. The Italian speaking area in the south of Switzerland is also pretty cool. June weather there is like Shreveport in April. I'd do Zermatt instead of Interlaken in summer. Much better hiking trails. Lucerne and Berne are also very cool small cities to hang out in. I could live in Berne the rest of my days too if I had the funds. Switzerland is perfect; that's why it costs so much to live there.

Be aware there is still a good number of hotels that do not have AC so they can be stuffy in the summer....
