Not true. He just played us like a fiddle for a nice raise from Houston. We are not the destination that most homers think we are. We’ve experienced two decades of deserving self inflicted wounds and things are about to get much worse in the NIL era. It’s starting with football and basketball but will branch out to other sports when other schools decide to pump their excess revenue into those sports. All my life I was told Arkansas has as much or more money than anyone. Now we are seeing that’s not true. Not even middle of the road SEC money. Our starting QB is a 3 star mountain west transfer for goodness sake. Get your heads out of the sand and be a realist.

I can believe we got played. We've been a sucker for coaches looking for leverage to get a bump in salary and a huge buyout where they are. Gus Malzahn is exhibit A.
