Would be dumb for NCAA to put LSU and USCe in the same bracket or side of the bracket. If they want to make money, they will put them on different sides and let them duke it out in finals.

The projection Sunday had them as the 2 in south Carolina’s bracket fwiw

It's in the selection rules. No in-conference top 16 (1-4 seeds) teams can be placed in the same region.

That's why people have been saying that all that matters is getting a 4 seed or better.
