After the transfers out Bama still has twice the number of five star players than LSU. I believe Bama still has the second highest rated roster in the country behind Georgia.
DeBoer took a 4-8 Washington team to 11 wins his first year (and a win over Texas) and the national championship game his second year (and another win over Texas). Neither Washington team had even one five star player.

1. How was his recruiting?
2. How many games did he win by a TD or less? Easily could have been 7-5 last year
