It's early in the season and LSU has the luxury of winning most games while experimenting with inexperienced players and different batting orders. Last year's team went cold for several weeks late in the season and turned it back around. LSU has a lot of talent and quality coaches, no need to worry this early.

A lot of people have selective memory about last years team. They think they were perfect from game one till the end. Yes, they had a period where bats were extremely cold.

There was a 3 week period where Crews wasn’t hitting well at all. Pearson started the season ice cold. I remember after the Iowa game in Round Rock all the haters came out dissing the team saying they couldn’t hit elite pitching.

It’s a journey, and it’s a fun one, if you enjoy the game and understand it.
