This is what college football has become. Dude could have been legend, fondly remembered by Bama fans who weren’t even alive when The Gravedigger happened. Hell, even an idiot like me could have turned that into a lifetime subsidy.
Now his name will be dust in the mouths of Bama fans.
Maybe he followed the money, but how much more is he going to make off of this move than had he stayed and been #1 in Grubb offense? Is it gonna be enough? Maybe so.
And no, I don’t wish the best for him. Everything about this move has been classless.
