I think you could make an argument that Daniels is more plug-and-play than Penix because of his running ability. Theres no way Daniels can process an offense on the level of Penix right now though. But Penix has some wonky mechanical stuff that some coaches and scouts don't like.

I do.

Penix is inconsistent and disappeared in several games this year when he had a lot o pressure in his face, played horribly on the biggest stage, is pretty immobile, and has a bad injury history.

ETA:

I'd take Maye and Williams over Penix as well. He's got arm talent, but I wouldn't call him pro-ready and I think his floor is living on the IR.

Have you seen Penix play under pressure? Dude throws off his back foot every pass and has no pocket awareness. Not to mention his horrible wind up throwing motion.
