There's a post right now on the front page about an SEC team hitting the portal hard.
Really not trying to flame, but that team had the greatest recruiting class of all time two years ago, then finished 7–6 twice and fired their coach.
And now they're having to "hit the portal hard?"
What the hell are we (collectively) doing to college football that any of this makes sense?
I feel like we're on the verge of doing some real harm to this sport.
When Nick Saban started paying recruits a collective $10+ million per year...
then was followed by HIS protegee Fat Boy Kirby joined in and paid recruits and players 30+ million per year
then bama caught up with them
then got several other teams in the race
legitimizing pay for play and the farce NIL heat
It all traces back to the scumbag mideget and Fat Boy
THEY KILLED COLLEGE FOOTBALL! Roll TAHD! WOOF WOOF WOOF!
