When I'd drive back to Waco from visiting Louisiana id always pass through Mart and it amazed me that that small town has such a prestigious football program

Gone that way many times to LA and only ever driven through. I still feel the same.
I scrimmaged mart when I was a sophomore. They had a kid that went to Oklahoma State and won state that year
Are you from Waco? I grew up there.

When we went to Waco my daughter’s first year at Baylor we passed through Mart on a Friday afternoon. It looked like something out of Friday Night Lights; flags lining the streets and every business had Go Panthers on the windows. Little town with plenty of school pride.
